Hi

I support several systems with Asus mainboards based on intel LX and
BX chipsets. They have good ECC memory which seems to be indicated in
BIOS. The SDRAM DIMM modules are certainly ECC.

Is there is a program that can confirm ECC is actually there and
working in the system?

Mainboards are Asus P2L97-S and Asus P3B-F

Incidentally none of the ID programs that read the SPD seem to work
in these Asus boards.

I remember that in the HX chipset days i think it was Abit had a good
mainboard that you could enable ECC in BIOS however about 20 months
into production someone realized that it wasn't ACTUALLY working and a
BIOS fix came out.
