Hi 

I am triing to set two computers together using nic cards and rj45 wire. Both computers reconize the cards and themselves on the workgroup but don't see each other. I think I have the proper software set up but I must be missing something.

This is what I have installed on both machines (both are Win98se):

Client for Microsoft Networks
Dial-Up Adapter
NE2000 Compatible
NetBEUI->Dial-Up Adapter
NetBEUI->NE2000 Compatible
TCP/IP->Disl-Up Adapter
TCP/IP->NE2000 Compatible
File and printer sharing for Microsoft Networks
