I would check the bios first...then i would see if there is an up-grade
for the bios...sounds like that is what the problem is...or you might
need to change the motherboard battery....is your time & date always
correct....that is if you turn off the computer...

I have an older HP Pavilion 6343 computer. AMD-K6, 300mhz.
After the computer starts up and goes thru Bios, I get the following
messages: UMB upper limit segment address:EBBC
Error
Com A configuration changed
Error
Floppy configuration error- device disabled
Error
Resource conflict - PCIMass storage controller
configuration
on Motherboard.
Bus:00, Device:01, Function:01
F1 - Setup, F2 - Resume
If I resume-- no operating system found.
