Have you updated your motherboard BIOS to 3R? I was having problems with my
soundblaster live platinum 5.1 popping when capturing video clips with the WW
BIOS. When I updated it to 3R, no more pops or crackles. I know yours doesn't
work at all, but perhaps a BIOS update will help because 3R is supposed to fix a
whole slew of problems with the SoundBlaster compatibility issues. For what
it's worth, I don't use the highpoint controller on my KT7A-RAID. I only have
two hard drives and one of them is only 4.3 gigs @ 5400RPM. I'm not sacrificing
25 gigs of space for a little extra speed.
