You can use the dos commands interlnk.exe and intersrv.exe to link the
two computers as client server on a null modem cable. You will need to
get a null modem adapter for your serial cable, link the two computers,
make sure the appropriate commands exist on each system, boot to a dos
session on both and run the client and server applications. I'd have to
find my old dos 5.0 manual to get more specific.
