Not really, mainly these things are only used when you run out of
parallel ports and either can't or don't want to add another one the
"traditional" way. I don't see it being faster or anything like that (in
fact it COULD be slower if you're using other high bandwidth stuff on that
particular USB port such as a CDR burner or scanner). TTYL
