This is Win98. It seems to ask for more.
Wait till you see how much Win-ME looks for
during the validation process. (IT takes a while...)
I did an upDATE to Win-ME from a Win98-O upgrade
disk. I was thinking it would not work too...

  As long as you can direct the Me promotional upgrade to the CAB files from
98 it will work. That includes CAB files on a Jaz, Zip, CD, or in a hard
drive folder.
