First and foremost I would like to thank you for all of your help. I
really appreciate it. A client bought in a HP Omnibook that he dropped in
the airport. When the system comes on there is a 1" x 3" black rectangle
in the lower left that appears in all programs. The display has been
damaged. My questions are these:

1) Can this be fixed?
2) If not fixed with the monitor continue to deteriorate?

Thanks one again,

William Council
