completely non paleo, just like Saccharin or any other artificial ingredient
and I wouldn't use it. There are no long term studies that I would trust.
I'm sure occasional use wouldn't hurt you though. Keep in mind that unlike
saccharin, when you consume Splenda you consume fairly high quantities of it
because it is not as potent as saccharin.
Paleo is not the same as low carb. The paleo way would be to use honey, or
dates, for sweetness. But since paleo diet does not involve baking, there is
little use for artificial sweeteners anyway.
