IMHO, what you're seeing is the result of a diet high in refined carbohydrates-
lot's of calories and very little nutrients. I treat more teachers than any
other profession and most of them will not listen to my advice either. Remember
the old saying: "You can lead a horse to water, but, you can't make them drink".
The problem is, that, these people are people trying to teach our kids by
rewarding them with Jolly Ranchers then pushing Ritalin on them when they become
hyper. Perhaps, if they face the reality of nutrition (or lack thereof) causes
many of the behavioral problems they see, they would have to admit what it has
done to them
