Greetings:
It is with deep regret that I announce the death of a cousin, Simon (not Samuel) Johnson, in Atlanta. Simon was well loved by us all and the entire family will miss him sorely.
Simon and his work mate were brutally murdered late last night while at work for a few pieces of silver. Police are investigating case.
Those of us living in the U.S. are caught in this culture of violence that seems to seep through every pore of this country. Alas, there is little one can do to prevent such events from happening, unless of course, America is willing to take a more serious look at itself and recognize the cancer that continues to grow deep within itself, and take the necessary steps to remedy it.
Simon, though the murderers may have taken your young life from this world, you will forever remain dear to our hearts.
Latjor
