Class act brother George. Even though you explained that you were not trying
to tarnish Forster's good name, you nonetheless went ahead and apologized to
the man. Clearly, this is not personal on your part and I do not think that
you hold Forster in any contempt. You do not even know him. Tom is a fine
man as numerous people have already stated. From what I remember about him,
he is extremely smart and Gambians should be proud of his achievements. I
must tell you that I felt enormous pride as a Gambian reading Tom's site
this morning. I take this opportunity and congratulate him for his latest
achievement in his doctorate degree.
I hope the people that were calling for you to apologize to Tom would now
back off. I also hope that Tom accepts your apology in good faith. Above all
George, I hope this matter will NOT deter you from the fine job you are
doing for the struggle. The real culprit here is NOT you. As you rightly
pointed out, the person that is pretending to be who he is not, is the real
culprit.
