Of what use are our citizenship and allegiance to the Gambia, if all we
think about is how much money we pay into the system for our own benefit?
Tough talk, however, lack the will power and or the ability to push forward.
There has always been a show of allegiances, of groupings, most often than
not, of the opposition party. Such groups talk about the "wrongs" and the
need to correct them. Now that the implementation stage is here, the numbers
dwindle and counter productive arguments get started. Put your money where
your mouth is, or be quiet.
I am by no means going to contribute to such funds, nor will i contribute to
any other fund created for political purposes, or for any other specific
political party. That is me. But you, the people claiming to be this and
that, should have no problems providing your financial muscle for the course
you believe-in.
Let this forum not be one for tough talk and too little action, if any.
Nb: Hamza & Saine, good education you folks provided me today, thanks.
Just thinking aloud.
Harona.
