According to NPR, Cheney has both a stent and the stainless steel mesh
retaining tube to keep the angioplasty open.  It's my understanding from
this news story that about 20% of the angioplasty patients have to have the
procedure redone  in the ensuing months.

        What they do now is either a balloon(angioplasty) or a stint. Really
do
not know when one is used over the other. They news blurb about Vice
President
Chaney indicates to me he had angioplasty.
