Hi Listers,

I'm building my first computer and I'm stuck. I have mounted the floppy,
hard drive and a CD-ROM and CD-RW. I have connected the cable to the floppy and
the hard drive. I believe the jumper setting on the hard drive is master. The
problem lies with the two CD-ROM's. I don't understand which one should be
master and which should be slave, and how to attach the cable to the CD-ROM's
and then to the mother board.

Please put the responses in easy terms and don't skip any steps. I'm really
new at this and I don't understand everything yet.

By the way, the mother board is an Abit VH6 and the sound card is built in.
Does that mean I don't have to attach the cord for the sound to the hard drive
and CD-ROM's? I am confused!

Thanks in advance for your help.
Diana
