    Let me guess, is it a mainstream brand system? My guess is one of the
number one tech support calls is "my BRAND new computer is broken, I turn it
on and all it says is "press F1 to enter setup", I press F1 and nothing
happens!", tech - "have you plugged in your keyboard?" ... My guess is this
is why some BIOS's default to this setting. I myself wish more would, it's
annoying not having a system boot because the keyboard is disconnected
(mainly becuase I have more computers than keyboards, because of my servers,
so my keyboards float around alot). TTYL
