I can force a change in the NIC through Device Manager. However, the last
time I made a change like this I completely hosed my network settings. That
is why I'm asking if there is a "safe" way to do this. The card is
completely jumperless and totally plug-n-pray. I have not checked into
flashes, but will do so. Any other ideas?
