I bought ~1,000 empty capsules at local herb store for around $9. Maybe you
can
buy them in bulk cheap, split them up and sell them at a small mark up in your
small town.
As for garlic, a hot-weather treat for chimps at Monkey World (see Monkey
Business show on Animal Planet) is frozen fruit, like popcicles, and garlic
frozen the same way. I expect that if an ape found garlic growin in the wild
(or wild onions, for that matter), she would eat them if she wished to.
