Hello,
I'm in the middle of switching my kitchen for Passover and planning my
menus for the seders. I came across a recipe I really loved for
vegetarian kishke (I'm a vegetarian). The recipe calls for matzoh
meal. I tried it last year substituting potato starch and as those of
you who know better than I did at the time, as you can imagine, the
kishke turned out like rubber tires and even the dog didn't want it!
Can anyone recommend a substitute that is ok for Passover. I will not
eat corn, rice or beans for Passover. Would potato flour work? If so,
would I use the same amount of that as I would have used matzoh meal?
Thanks in advance.
To others celebrating, have a good Passover.
