Dear Paul and the list,

I find Paul's mail quite odd. Delta have a responsibility
as prime contractor to ensure their subcontractors supply
the food which you have agreed a contract for. The point
is that they regularly fail to do so. My wife and I are
starting here in the UK to use legislation (the Disability
Discrimination Act) to enforce her rights to be given
equally favourable treatment as non-coeliacs. This is a
discrimination issue and should be dealt with as such.

I am sick and tired of groups saying (often very rudely)
that OF COURSE they can organise GF meals then failing and
saying something in the line of "Can't you TAKE something
for it?". If coeliacs don't take the discrimination line
and shout from the rooftops about it, all that will happen
is that nothing will happen (a guaranteed Irishism this!).

Why should the mental laziness of
airlines/hotels/restaurants etc be allowed to mess up the
lives of my (much loved) wife and all you others!

I sit here spitting blood (Karin got another dose recently
while on a conference which "of course" could produce GF
meals, *and* wouldn't let her discuss her diet before hand
with the chef!)

Regards

David
