I just found a reasonably priced source of glutinous rice on the Net:
www.ethnicgrocer.com  sells it for $.89 a package, which is what I pay
for it in Chinatown in nyc.  I use the stuff for kneadable flatbreads,
and for sauces, and for dredging meat and fish.  It is lovely.
