I just went to the doctor for my bronchitis like flu. Good news, it was
just the flu. So anyway she weighed me and got a little worried about
my bones. She sent me to have a bone density test where they determined
my bones were very close to Osteoporosis. Now, you may not find this
odd, but I am 22 years old!!!!!!!

The issue at hand is that I was so ill with my Celiac Disease that I
didn't get a period for about a year. I guess the lack of Estrogen
depletes the bones and makes them weak.

I just wanted to let you all know that it doesn't happen only to older
people. I am a very vibrant 22 year old, just married and in the prime
of my life.

Go get that bone scan, it is a great tool since we can do something
about bone loss!
