Can anyone out there give me step by step instructions as to how to get
into the case so I can reattach the ON/OFF button to the ON/OFF switch.
I have found the seven(7) screws on the underside that appear to hold
the
two parts, keyboad/bottom, together but there is some another attachment
that I have been unable to find.
All assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Jim,
TOSHIBA Satellite are snapped together at the factory with little clips. You
actually have to break them (or the case) to get the case open. I found this
out when my son spilled pop on the keyboard of his. I think most laptops are
assembled this way. It really makes it difficult for do-it-yourself repair.
