There have been a lot of messages posted to pcbuild about this type of
issue, I know one solution at least. Go to Microsoft site and search for
DELPART.EXE which is specifically designed to get rid of unix and ntfs
partitions when fdisk fails. You can also search web file repositories, it
used to be a common downloadable file. There is not much to using it, you
run it from a diskette in dos, and after a warning or two, it makes the
drive look like it has never been partitioned.

hello all; I have a western digital 10.2, was running win 98se decided to
install linux mandrake so i installed it , i up graded my computer,so i
tried to delete the partitions and start allover but now i can only use 1.7
g for win 98, fdisk says it cannot delete extended partition with logical
drives, and it says no logical drives defined, partition magic says i have
partition table problems error #113 overlapping partitions i cannot delete
,dos willnot let me, Help
