Hi Carlene,
I've seen this happen a couple of times - CD Players with the little hooks that stop the CD from flying out on the high speed CD Players when the door is opened are prone to this if the user is a bit quick on removing the CD from the tray. In each instance I have managed to fix the device. I recommend that you take it to a technician to fix. The first time - I disassembled the case and found that the tray had become unseated from its tracks. I don't recommend you do this as it will a) void any warranty on the device and b) there's some very sensitive equipement inside. The next time I struck such a case, it too had become unseated from its tracks. I used a little brute force on the tray and eased it back into the track guides. Both units still work fine. Incidentally one was my own, the other a clients.
Good luck.
Regards Roger.
