Yes - its a good question. What, for instance is the heart attack rate in
Mexico. How might it vary between native peoples who presumably eat a diet
fairly close to the original, and the remainder of the mixed race population?
Mexicans eat a lot of meat, and I understand their per head consumption of
Coca-Cola is actually higher than the US. They do tend to pudginess, but you
don't see the obesity you see in the US.
They don't eat much bread, and their tortillas are usually small made from
maize. Their pastries are very good, and light, because they use lard.
