Considered that even meat consists of 70 percent water - that's quite a

Well it could be quite a lot, but for the usual (common western) eater of
denser stuff it would be a very small amount.

deteriorated - or gone away in many.
The human body has some very good systems to cope with a lack of water
(priority for the brain, everything other sits in the 2nd or 3rd row).
Elevated blood pressure is one of the strategies.
