I remember it well. It was "ugly bags of mostly water", and it was on
Star Trek, the Next Generation. It was the translation of a crytalline
silicon-based lifeform's word for "humans". Note: I used to watch TV,
before life got so full of things like an amazing daughter, wildcats in
the henhouse (yesterday), and studies of evolutionary matters
(Paleo-diet, Continuum-Concept, De Vany's Evolutionary-fitness, and
other hyphenated interests).
