Anything other than plain water, such as coffee, tea, fruit juice- does not
"count" as water. I think caffeine is actually bad for your bones...leaches
calcium from the body, or prevents calcium absorption, can't remember which.
Caffeine is also diuretic. So 8 glasses of water a day means 8 glasses of
*water*, not a glass of iced tea, a glass of fruit juice, a cup of coffee,
etc. until you've had so many fl. oz. of liquid. Other beverages should be
counted in addition to the water.
Stacie
highly irritated by the Crystal Light TV commerical, "who says water can't
come in pretty colors?" Ack!

I do know he mentioned drinking a lot of that water as coffee and tea, but I
don't know the proportions.
