Hi Alieu,
The roaming facility does not come automatic with any GSM system.
It is a technical possibility but operators have to agree on both technical
and financial terms before it happens. Remember this is business and
somebody has to be pay for the calls.
Looking at the scenario it could be a good deal for Gamcel to enter
into a roaming agreement with the Senegalese GSM operator but i know it
will involve a lot of talking and meetings.
May I finally congratulate the Gambia GSM project team for a job well done.
