Joyce, congratulations on your new job! That is GREAT news.
I know how you must be feeling right now. About three months ago, I went
for an interview in another town. At the interview, the person tentatively
arranged for me to come for another interview in two weeks. I had many
interviews before, so I didn't get too excited. I continued looking and
went to a job fair. At the second interview, the Human Resources Director
said that she'ld send me an other letter by Friday (that was Wednesday).
The following Saturday, 3/11, I got the offer letter saying that they
wanted me to start no later than the 20th.
On the 19th, I came over here and checked into a hotel where I've been
living and happily employed ever since. It has been great be a sporatic
lurker.
