Well put Cindy!

God gives us great responsibility as parents to "train up a child in the
way they should go", and discipline is always part of it. (Especially true
while raising a very active toddler.)
Please notice that I say discipline, and not punishment---they are NOT the
same.
That also doesn't mean spanking is used freely here either.
We try to be extremely measured and consistent when a spank is necessary.
God is very patient with me, and I pray that I am the same with my kids, in
the area of discipline.
