Well, finally some good news to report. Zachary was signed on at Children's Medical Services. He gets to keep all of his specialists, but had to be changed from a pediatrician to a Pediatric Intensifist (sp). Do some of you have this particular type of doctor ?
Anyway, they paid for the pulse/oxcimeter and it was delivered last evening. I was able to take a sat reading at 8pm,10pm, and then again at 11:30pm. The first two readings were great 98% and higher, but when he woke up from sleep at 11:30 I decided to take another reading, and sure enough his sats were down, when I took it it was only 92% I am sure it was lower than that when he was awaken. He was on his O2 at the time, 1/2 a liter per.
I took another reading this morning at 7 and it was back up to 99% on room air. I guess is still having that UARS.
Anyway, does anyone living here in the Orlando area go to CMS for services ? If so could you write to me and tell me how your experiences have been with them ?
Thank you
Deborah mom of 4
