Ok guys...need your input. I "ordered" a new wheelchair! OMG The one that
I have was "donated" to me ummmm ... at least 15 yrs ago. I was a mere
youngster at that time. (Yes, I have a dinosaur chair!) The guy was nice
and gave me what the Dr has to sign and all... so I faxed it over, Dr
filled it out and I'm picking it up today... to SPEED the process (so I may
have the chair for my vacation in July). A co-worker, who has CP, said that
he wrote a letter- had his Dr sign it... he wrote it as if the Dr was
writing it... clever idea! This will be a benefit do ya'll think.. or
shall I just have this paperwork that only describes what I need in a chair
and my co-ordination, strength... mobility etc..
I know it probably won't hurt but if I do this, I have to get a letter
written (which I do well at) as early as possible so I can take it with me
today to the Dr.
What ya'll think?
Thanks
Paige
