That dentist should be struck off, I hope the child's parents are
suing for incompetence, malpractice, discrimination, physical and
mental anguish etc. That poor little boy. The cruelty, stupidity and
inhumanity of so many of the able-bodied community - especially the
medical profession terrifies me. Sometimes I just don't know how it
is possible to survive in this world with things like that happening.
I used to think I was paranoid for feeling like the world was trying
to destroy people with disabilities. Maybe I'm not.

OK, got through, Carla... Thanks, it looks great!
I heard from a lady in the Chicago area. She tries to help people find
dentists that can work with CP and other disabilities. She told me a story
that horrifies me ... there was a little boy whose Mom went to 3 different
dentists, finally she settled for one of them. They agreed to sedate her son
who has CP & is mildly retarded, and they agreed to do just a deep cleaning
.... well, the dentist changed his mind in the middle of it, and took out ALL
his front teeth! ARGGHHH!!!
