Please announce our "Work for Justice" event organized by the NAACP and
MUM for Saturday Jan 16th from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Labor Temple, 1602 S.
Park St., Madison. Activities will include music, refreshments, and lots of opportunities for advocacy and service in our community as ways to work for racial justice and reconciliation.
THE POSTERS THAT WE HAVE BEEN DISTRIBUTING ADVERTISING THIS AND ALL THE MARTIN LUTHER KING EVENTS WILL BE PRINTED AS AN ENTIRE PAGE IN THE CAPITAL TIMES NEWSPAPER ON MONDAY JANUARY 11TH. PLEASE URGE PARISHIONERS TO GET THE PAPER, CUT OUT THE PAGE, AND POST IT IN THEIR WINDOW THE REST OF THE WEEK.
The January 12th meeting of the Call to Renewal will not be held as usual! Instead on Tuesday Jan. 12th at 11:30 AM go to the Labor Temple, 1602 S. Park St., Madison and show your support in a press conference regarding the January 16th alternative event "Work for Justice".
