building skills and relationships in a challenging and supportive
environment. The Grassroots Leadership College will be accepting
applications for developing leaders and coaches until December 15th.
Applications will be available at the informational session.
Applications can also be requested by calling the college at 441-0085 or

Spring 2004 classes will include; Self as Leader, The Importance of
Personal Values, Conflict Transformation, Building a Community Agenda,
Diversity, Running Effective Meetings, Recruiting and Retaining Members
and Volunteers, and How to Work with Power, as well as several classes
determined by program participants. Developing leaders and coaches
will also have the opportunity to work together on neighborhood and
community issues through projects designed by the developing leaders.
