EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

The Melville J. Herskovits Library of African Studies at Northwestern
University seeks a Library Bibliographer of Africana.  The Herskovits
Library is closely linked with the curricular and research programs
of Northwestern University's Program of African Studies. (For more

Qualified candidates will have MLS from an ALA accredited library
school or an advanced degree in an Africa-related social sciences or
humanities discipline, three years of successful library or
equivalent experience including collection development experience.

Country Program Director, Nigeria Partners for Development (PFD)
seeks Country Program Director for its Nigeria program.  Based in
Makurdi, Benue State in Central Nigeria with in country travel.
Qualifications: 5 years of NGO field mgmt exp. Preferably in public
health.

Program Manager/Micro-Credit Benue Nigeria, Partners for Development
(PFD) seeks a Program Manager of Micro Credit for Nigeria.
Responsabilities include:  Design and implement $500k budget, seek
funding.  Base will be in Makurdi, Benue State, Central Nigeria.

Institutional Strengthening Program Manager - ANGOLA. Catholic Relief
Services (CRS), development and social justice agency of the catholic
community of the United States, seeks a Program Manager I,
Institutional Strengthening to work in Angola Office.
Qualifications:  3-5 years work experience in relief and development
with proven experience in adult training, willing to work out of
Caritas partner locations approximately 85% of the time.

Program Manager II of Monitoring and Evaluatin Coordindator- ANGOLA.
Catholic Relief Services seeks a Program Manager II, monitoring and
evaluation coordinator for Angola Office.  For more info:

Child Specialist Program Coordinator - CONGO Brazzaville.
International Rescue Committee (IRC) seeks a Child Specialist Program
Coordinator.  Requirements:  2 yrs with children, preferably in
Africa; Degree in social/educational work of psychology.

HIV/AIDS Advisor - UGANDA. International Rescue Committee (IRC) seeks
an HIV/AIDS Advisor.  Based in the IRC Kampala office but will travel
extensively to consortium member supported activity sites.
Requirement:  Advanced degree in public health; 5+ years experience
with HIV/AIDS program development, implementation, and evaluation.

Technicl Advisor in Health & Child Survival for West African Regional
Program– GHANA
Position located at USAID/WARP/Ghana.
