Greetings and thanks so much for forwarding the AAM List Guidelines below,
Mr. Brewoo. This will, perhaps, help all of us to be reminded of our
'limitations' on the "persistence" in the "sharing of personal thoughts".
Meanwhile, per your note of enforcement against the "persistence" of our
postings on the 'For Your Inspirations', we do not see any restrictions
therein. Thus, when you wrote in your note dated 11/20/01 to us and
included the following, "We do not abhor sharing of personal thoughts or
inspirations but we will not encourage its persistence", we honestly are not
sure exactly which part of the guidelines you were enforcing and how they
reflect your concern about "persistence".

Mr. Brewoo, granted we stand corrected, perhaps your note, referred to
herein, to us is by virtue of your position as Vice President of AAM or one
of the postmasters of the AAM List. If that is true, it would be more
helpful if your enforcement of these guidelines were objective. We are
very certain that all of us can do better if we avoided the usage of
personal feelings or emotions to react to situations especially in enforcing
guidelines as these. This goes to any of us, some cheer leaders, who bends
on jumping to conclusions unjustifiably.

On another note, while we are grateful to the pioneers of the guidelines
discussed herein, perhaps it is time to review and make timely amendments.
For example, "...membership nominations..." in the third paragraph may not
be appropriate at this point. What do you think?

To all parties who were/are interested in this discussion, please take note
that we honestly do not take pleasure in unnecessary arguments which usually
results into 'no winners' but heavy hearts for one another. However, we
really thought it would help to point out a few mis-steps and use the
opportunity to echo the need for a second look at our guidelines.

Merry X-Mas, Happy New Year and God bless all for peaceful co-existence.
