***Liberians Celebrate 154th Independence Anniversary***

Hello fellow Liberians, Africans and friends of Liberia
and Africa.:

In celebration of Liberia's 154th Independence Anniversary which will be
officially observed on July 26, 2001, the Liberian Association of Wisconsin,
Inc. (LAW      invites you and yours to an All Day festivities on Saturday,
July 21, 2001 as follow:

(a).  PICNIC

Place:  Elver Park, 1240 McKenna Blvd.
Time:   11:00 a.m  to 6:00 p.m

Activities:   Barbequing, Children's Games, Basketball (Youth v.s Adults)
                    Soccer ( LAW v.s Minnesota) and lots of fun

(b) RELIEF FUNDRAISER DINNER & DANCE PARTY

Place:  Eagle Heights Community Center (Close to UW Hospital)
Time:   8:00 p.m   to 112:45 a.m
Donation:  $10.00

Activities:   * Meeting the Liberian Acappella Choir that is touring the US
                      Come and see, hear, fellowship and identify with seven
young
                       men (ages 19-25) five of whom are physically blind
fill you with
                       soul moving spiritually awakening songs.  Their CD's
will be
                       available for purchase.
                    * Dance to the Most Variety Disc Jockey (DJ) Lasisi's
taste
                    * Fellowship, make new friends and have lots of fun.

Come out and joins us make this great Summer Day and a great African cause
a worthy and fun filled one.  You will love it.
