The two wheel version of the Hart Walker can only be used by someone who has
enough balance to be able to maintain an upright position.  I know when this
particular girl started out, she had someone with her to make sure she did
not topple over.  But in very short order, she was able to maintain it very
well by herself.  She now can groom her horse in it, among many other things.
 She also walks independently, however, has some gait issues.  It is a great
orthotic device, even without the walker part.
