What you need is a KVM (Keyboard-Video-Mouse) switch, with the appropriate
cables.
If you go this route, buy the electronically switched not mechanical.

Hello,
I have a customer who has a computer set up in his office. He wants to
have a monitor, keyboard and mouse set up outside the office at a customer
desk so he can look up information without having to buy another computer
and network the two systems. The computer will be controlled from only one
location at a time. Can someone give me a list of the parts (cables,
switches, etc.) that I would need to set this up.
