If you're in heavy ketosis, yeah, it can make your breath a little less than
desirable. But it beats gaining weight.
Todd used a scientific definition, but in laymen's terms - dietary ketosis
means the body is burning fat, ketosis for type II diabetics signals the
burning of *tissue*. Sometimes editors go "ohhhh, okay." Other times their
shorts are still in a knot.
Remember, until Jesus, Allah, Buddha or C. Everett Koop say it's good for
you, any diet apart from the standard high-carb, low-fat pyramid is
verboten. You can shake 100 studies showing the benefits of a low-carb diet
in the face of 1,000 journalists and you'd be lucky if 5 of them caught on.
