Obviously, your physician has a bias. There are lots and lots and lots
of followers the the high meat diet. I was first introduced to it by my
personal physican, who recommended the book "Protein Power" by the
Eades. You know, I used to be a vegetarian before and was very
knowledgeable about the low-fat high-carb diet, so I was a bit
surprised, but by now I've done a lot of reading and it makes a lot of
sense. There are many, many books and websites out there with which you
can educate yourself on the health benefits of meat and vegetables.
