THANK YOU!  As an educator myself, I can't say how much your post meant
to me.  Where I work, I am lucky to have the resources I need, but
parents are very demanding.  Often I feel like they think they are the
professionals in the field and not me (even though I know my decisions
are based soundly on theory and practice!)  It is draining and
frustrating that teachers are not respected for the job we do.  It is
good to know there are folks like you out there that understand what
teachers do and value our efforts!
