Not that I would wish anyone ill but... Wouldn't it be ironic if the objecting woman had a stroke at some point and needed a ramp herself?

I'll never forget the lady who objected to putting a ramp in at Temple in
Manhattan Beach Calif. It was so another lady who'd had polio would be better
able to get in and out on her crutches. the lady that objected said it would
ruin the architecture of the Temple. As if it were an 18th century
masterpiece. Not!  So, the sisterhood lost their president with polio.
