Yep Michael, me too - they wanted to put me in the children's home in Lynchburg
VA.  Mom refused, and said she was going to give it her best shot in raising me,
before giving up.  She never gave up although she certainly endured her share of
trials and tribulations..............  they were also told I'd be nothing but a
vegetable, and most certainly mentally retarded.........  a lot of docs, are
pessimists!
