Our beloved brother and friend, the Reverend Akyeampong, lost his mother, Mama Margaret Akyeampong. This sad passing took place in Ghana on Saturday, May 1, 2004. May she rest in perfect peace!

The death of a parent, no matter how old and fragile, is always a painful experience. I am sure I speak on behalf of the entire African community when I express our deep and sincere condolences to the Akyeampong family in Madison and abroad.

However, for someone like the Reverend, who has comforted so many of us at various times, my words alone will not suffice. You can reach him at 3413 Cosgrove Drive, Madison. Telephone: (608) 288-0448 (HOME) and (608) 217-6502 (CELL), if you wish to express your own words of comfort.

Thanks.

Ben
