Hi Everyone,
The University of Wisconsin-Madison is one of the most reputable and respected univeristies in the United States, with more than 40,000 students and some 330,000 alumini living around the world.
UW-Madison is a proud tradition of thinking and acting globally when it comes to its defining reputation for formidable education, research and many important findings, such as vitamins A, B, and D; the first weather satellite; iodized salt; the Social Security system; the first radio station devoted to education; and a soluble that preserves organs for future.
As UW-Madison moves forward in its endeavor to create an enabling environment for all, it behooves me to introduce one of the main figures behind the improvement of the university.
I am proud to introduce Mr. John D. Wiley, Chancellor; an individual who has over the years devise strategic ways and means to articulate what the university should be and will be.
Mr. Wiley has unveiled a new strategic plan and direction to keep UW-Madison afloat. The new plan is a community creation, which will involve the ideas and opinions of people that are connected to the university.
In this light, I invite you to listen to The ALEX REDD SHOW, this Friday, February 28, 2003 at 4pm on WSUM-Radio 91.7FM, as the Chancellor discusses his new vision for UW-Madison with Alex Redd, host of the show. Please participate by calling the direct studio line: (608) 265-WSUM to ask questions.
Thanks for your attention and consideration to listen.
Alex Redd
