Thanks to the 20+ registered dietitians who replied to my post of 1/17/01.
I received informative, helpful information including a referral to the
American Dietetics Association's website (www.eatright.org), DTC curriculum
info, referrals to even more dietitians and suggestions on increasing
awareness, e.g., arrange for speaking engagements to DTC students. On
another positive note, a couple of people told me that my post inspired
them to a)Get even more involved in education and awareness on this topic,
or b)Recognize their dietitian in a special way. So, kudos to you all and
thanks again.
